DAS Finance Ltd (“DAS Finance”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in the course of arranging finance for you. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZA567938. This notice explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights.

DAS Finance Ltd is a mortgage and commercial finance brokerage authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA number 912717), registered in England and Wales (company number 12127321), with its registered office at 10 Alexandra Street, Southend-on-Sea, SS1 1BU. 2. What we collect
- Enquiry details — when you complete our contact form or call us: your name, email address, telephone number, the type of finance you need and anything you tell us about your situation.
- Application information — if you proceed with us: identity and address details, financial and employment information, details of your properties and portfolio, and credit history, so that we can advise you and arrange finance.
- Technical information — standard server logs generated when you visit the website (such as IP address and pages viewed), used for security and to keep the site working.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss your requirements.
- To advise on, source and arrange mortgages, loans, insurance and related finance for you.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including FCA rules and anti-money-laundering checks.
- To keep proper records of the advice and service we provide.
Our lawful bases are: your consent (when you submit the contact form); taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract; compliance with legal obligations; and our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only where necessary to arrange your finance or where the law requires it: with lenders, packagers and insurers relevant to your case; with credit reference and fraud-prevention agencies where an application proceeds; with trusted service providers who host our website and process form submissions on our behalf; and with regulators or law enforcement where we are required to do so. We do not sell your personal information.
5. How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not proceed, we keep your details for a limited period in case you come back to us, then delete them. Where we act for you, we retain client records in line with our regulatory obligations — generally for at least six years after our relationship ends.
6. Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time where consent is our basis for using it. This website does not use advertising or marketing cookies. Only what is strictly necessary for the site and its hosting to function is used. Where we link to third-party services — such as Trustpilot, Calendly or Google Maps — those services have their own privacy policies which apply once you leave our site.
